Bravo Eric and as the Tui's add would say - good on you mate!

On Mike's advice and after triple checking the Transport Ministry's
websites, the letter needs to be addressed as follows:

The Hon David Parker
Minister of Transport Safety

(The Safety Transport portfolio falls directly under the Transport
portfolio, both of which David Parker is the Minister).

Cheers

I think you'll find that was the Speights ad.

Stu, you're right all round.

Do you want to put your name to the letter?

Happy to Mark. Although a few other letters spring to mind at the moment as I
battle with:
a.. the centre console - to rewire the sound system (previous owner managed
to leave the jappo radio on permanently - no going off with the ignition ACC
switch - der!)
b.. attach the speaker seats to the radio (soon as I research the radio
colour codes - the speakers are fimne - just what to attach em to!)
c.. the band expander is permanently on and attached to the battery (funny
it goes flat quickly I thought at first..)
d.. no lights on the dash behind the heater controls (and mazda tells me
they come complete with housing... not)
Once the bandex has been moved forrard (sounds very nautical eh!), the new
lamps installed (they look as tho they plug in which is contrary to the Mazda
spares man on the shore) and the radio bunged back in duly wired in a sound
(!) manner I shall revert to other letters that spell H E I N E K E N me
thinks

Cheers

The Mazda deals were sent out in a February Mazda New
Zealand newsletter to "the industry" such as mechanics
and panel beaters. The mx SPECIALS WERE ON THE FRONT
COVER AND IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS. The actual trade price
was reduced to about $65. but public will obviously be
a bit more..
the part im talking about is the center console bit
which houses the stereo/heater controls not the
instrument cluster surround...

Just between you me and every one else i have found
Nth shore mazda very un helpful, and at some times
"deliberatly dumb".. they probably just want you to
buy one at the old price...

Well ive been doing a big push over the last few days
on the turbo project and shes 99% done.
filled up with new oil and water, primed the fuel
line. turned the key, and...
IT RUNS!
it started first time and settled to a nice steady
idle. It is hard to beleive considering it hasnt
turned over in two months, and its running bigger
injectors and an rx7 air flow meter!!
Ive only got the down pipe on from the turbo thats
about 1 meter long, and no "exhaust" as yet, so it
was pretty noisy and smelly as all the crap burnt off
the fabricated manifold.
just have to paint the airbox and get the exhuast done
next week, then itt'l be ready for certification and
tuning and then it will be ready for... oh wait it
winter soon... DAMN!!!
