Hi Fellow MX5 members.


After all the comments regarding speeding over the past couple of days, I
thought it may be worth passing on to you all;

Commencing 6th February, the Police are going to start a campaign, during
the week days of school

terms, 07.30am - 09.00 And 15.00pm - 16.30, where they will be targeting
speeding motorists.

There is to be one major difference to this campaign, in that there will be
a tolerance of 5k only,

not the normal 10k that has been policy for many years.

A good idea perhaps ?. Personally, I think the speed limit past schools
during the above mentioned

times should be more like 40kph.

But is this the thin end of the wedge ?? Will we be pinged at 105kph in the
near future on the open road ?


So, please take care outside schools from next week.
