leather seats

Post by Lorraine and Vic » Fri Jan 27, 2006 1:10 pm

Hi my name is Vic Wulff I live in Taupo and have just joined the club,I have a
1990 BRG mx5
with tan leather seats, but the driver seat has the colour worn off bottom
corner through sliding into the car.I have minimized this by always pushing
the seat to the rear before entering or leaving the car.I would like to know
if anyone has had there seats restored by these leather restorers you see
advertised, and do they make a good job, could any one recommend one In the
Hamilton,Auckland
area thanks
Vic

Hi Euen,

I am using a private contact - he is a fully certified welder and makes
numerous cages (with MANZ approval)- so everything should been OK there.

Herbert Fabrications are simply awesome - and I would use them without
hesitation if I had the $$$$. Cheap / affordable they are not.

Hi guys,
Just thought i'd add a possible solution to the forum vs email
thing. If you don't want the list mail coming in with your regular
mail you could set up an alternate address for the list. If anyones
interested I can offer an invite to gmail which easily copes with the
messages, plus you can download if you wish.

Mike

P.S. Sorry if i've covered someone elses suggestion but I hve only
been skimming over alot of the emails recently, more time needed i
think.
