Hello All ,

I just set up the folders and message ruled yesterday,

As you can tell I am still coming to grips with parts of this.

My absolute apologies for repeated sendings.

By way of penitence I can offer the use of a Hole saw for making a hole in
the leaf guard at the top of the firewall to increase cool airflow.

With a suitable hose this can benefit a standard air box also. A suitable
bracket for the new washer bottle mount is easily made.

Hi Colin.

I have a cold air system directly ducted into a pod filter
taken from this leaf tray, and I'm not sure if you saw my
earlier emails but be wary of potential WOF problems due to
the hole. If you want to see a picture of my set-up to maybe
give you some ideas I posted a link recently or I can
send again.

This area is 'supposed' to be a good place to get air in as
it's a high pressure zone, being that when the air hits the
windscreen it's pushed sideways and of course up, but also
down, thus the heater will always blow air even without the
fan running.

The other good thing is you get a nice induction sound from
the pod filter system.

Good luck with that.

Snap!

I also have Lochs full exhaust system.

Absolutely fantastic is what it is. I have done 33000ks with

intake and exhaust on the car now and still love the sucking sound.

Almost as good as a Webbered BDA in the early morning on a crisp, frosty,
Rotorua forest road.

I am in the Kapiti District, and the hole saw can travel.

I see everything twice!

Well I seem to get every email twice. Is it just me?

Hey,

I am upgrading my stereo system on my 1990 mx5, so I have bought a Sony
CDX-F7700 head unit, will buy 6" speakers for the door speakers, and I know
you have to adjust the spacing but that is hopefully all under control. I
have looked at several different ideas for the head rest speakers. I may not
end up replacing them if they are still in reasonable condition, which I
highly doubt, but what has anyone else done to theirs? I have read that you
can put in 3" speakers and run the cables down the inside back of the seats,
but I have been unable to locate any 3" speakers around in Chch, and
apparently 4" ones are JUST fractionally too large. Does anyone know if you
are able to buy the factory speakers or similar shaped ones from any
specialists ? Or what has anyone else done? Thanks :-)

Jenny

Hi Colin

It's most likely due to the way you have set your mailbox
rules. It doesn't just apply the first rule and then
relocate the email, it leaves the email in the in-box and
checks if any rules apply, and then deletes the original.

Thus if you had two rules, perhaps one is "including the
word MX5" and the other "sent to is MX5List" then should you
get an email from the MX5 list including the word MX5 you
will end up with 2 copies.

I have this issue at work as I have to apply many rules to
make sure I get all the email pertaining to a project in the
correct folder. the result is often 4 copies, but better
than sorting manually.

And yes the induction sound is... just great.

Cheers
