Hi all,

For anyone who wishes to participate:

HYPERLINK
"http://www.roadsterforums.com/forums/"h ... om/forums/

There is a message board for the NZ MX5 club. This does not replace this
email list, but rather is an addition to it. You will also notice the
Greater Cincinnati Miata Club which is doing exactly the same thing (email
list plus forum). They even have a poll running to see how many want the
just the email list, just the forums, both etc. It is bang on even-stevens
for each option.

Cheers,

Peter

I just registered with no problems.
I guessed the referrers name was Pea and that worked!
I'm not a fan of forums but will give it a try. Might convert me.

Grant.

I don't know where you are Colin so without wanting to steal any of your
generous thunder, I also have the same hole-saw available. I am in Auckland. I
bought the saw when I installed the Loch Stewart cold air induction kit. In
addition, I found that Para Rubber offer rectangular section rubber that is
ideal for lining the new hole.

I'll watch the roadster forum for a while. I'm easy as to the use of a forum
over the email list, I read the list posts and delete as I go, no problem. I
use hotmail so I only have a 2Mb limit, so I don't keep many in folders. If
I want to refer back to a thread I can reread it from the MX5 club site
files.

It is the same format exactly as the Miata. net forum. I'm registered there
and have made a few posts. I find it useful for bouncing ideas around, (and
assistance to others who don't have the knowlege that age tends to bring).
The main advantage I see to the forum is the ability to attach photos (or
drawings) to the post, and the threads are stored where they are easily
accessed.

Are you aware that you can use Outlook express, or any other
mail handler to directly and automatically download from
Hotmail? I do this for much of my email. That way I have a
full record at home.

Gazza, yes I was aware of that, however I find that the Hotmail meets my
needs as I don't have many other emails coming in. I can always get to
Hotmail from work if I want to. Speeds up the connection no end. (I get
46Kbps at home).
