A Smile & a Gem

Post by MadMaz » Tue Jan 17, 2006 6:32 pm

Hi Keith

I like to read everything that comes in the MX5List because I like to read
what everyone has got to say - regardless of the subject. I find every
message interesting and would never filter any of them out.

To make it easy I've created an MX5List folder in Outlook and have set it up
so that all the mail from the list is automatically diverted to that folder
as it comes in. That way, the list mail doesn't get mixed up with other
mail.

Re private wars - these things are a fact of life, take a look at just about
any forum. And even the ordinary TV news. I even know some people who've
joked (more than seriously) about escaping away from life to become a
hermit.

Seriously though, being a hermit's not a real option. Life is a fact - and
of course it's "not fair" - it's one of the hardest things you learn as
a young person. It's best to learn this hard lesson as early as possible
and make the best out of what you've got - and stopping off to help the
neighbours as often as you can.

Even just a smile for people can be worth as much to them as a gem.

Cheers
Mark

Yup, I vote for a forum too. I guess it wouldnt be
that hard to run and oversee as any abusive posts can
be reported and topics locked if they get outta
control.
The search function is much better and it gives yet
another place for the sponsers to advertise and post
special deals...
things like "how to's" can be posted as "stickeys so
they can be easily read.

Its not at all any harder or slower than checking your
email anyway for those of you not up with the play on
websites and forums!!! (im on a 56k connection
too, and have no problems)
something simple like this would be all thats
needed...
