Power window cable

Post by DBM58 » Tue Jan 10, 2006 8:25 am

The power cable on my passenger door electric window has become disconnected from the plastic moulding at the bottom of the window track. The end detail is still attached so the cable has not snapped. By comparing with the plastic moulding on the driver's side (using a mirror) it does not lok as though the plastic has broken either. However, the cable is clearly not long enough to be re-attached easily - perhaps because it would be undr tension when connected. Before I start pulling the wrong things apart, has anybody had this problem and can offer tips on fixing it.

Thanks
