Push Button Starter

Post by brownie » Thu Apr 16, 2009 9:57 pm

Just want to get a idea of how many people would be into getting a Push Button Starter set up like Honda S2000 ?.
We have had a new sample unit come in from oversea's and look to be a fairly simple set up for NA MX5/Roadster,s ,Have instuctions and look pretty good.Would fit in the ciggy lighter hole.
Would sell for around $85+gst ,
We also have landed bright finisher rings for NA/NB to go around the heater vents and NB hazard switch. Will run a add in the next day or so.
Thanks
Brownie

(sprsta)Away you go and make your button. These are set up so just about any one could install it with screwing anything up,
I am sending the sample to one of my customers to test it out first and report what it is like and will get more in from there.
As to price...Seen a Falcon setup on Trade Me for $300,S2000 Honda set ups go for $250,When you can get them.
I will up load a photo later to show how professional they look as a teaser.
This is our first sample so we like to make sure they are OK before we get more in,It's not like we can order in 1 or 2.We have to order decent quanity before the factory will send them over to us.

So, do you you still need an ignition key other than for doors?

Yes,Turn the key of course to release steering lock !, and hit the button.
Wouldn't want anyone to jump in the car and nick it of course without a key.
Come with wiring loom/relay box and full fitting instructions.
Here to help with any needs for your beloved MX5/Roadster.

It looks cool. Does the illumination dim at night when the lights are turned on? Cheers Stevo

Don got it all fitted and working ,Very easy to install,The only mod is you will have to drill the cigy light hole to 30mm from 25mm ,Unless you want to stick else where around the car.
We will go ahead and get some more in ,I will give forum users first crack when they arrive 6-8 weeks doen the track.
Don did say they do not appear to bright at night to distract you either.

We will be putting a order thru to Taiwain in the next 2-3 weeks (along with other parts) ,Takes about another 3-4 weeks 2 arrive from there .
We will putting a order in for 10 sets.Pricing is set once they get here,We have to pay in USD,So costs can vary between ordering and landing,Hopefully can sell under the $100 mark.
I WILL list them here when they arrive,Give you guys first chance ,and then list them on Trade Me to a bigger market,These will do pretty much any car you want.
