The amp for the Bose system fitted to my 1998 NB is fitted on the
transmission tunnel just below the radio etc. I left mine there when I
replaced the radio as I couldn't be bothered removing it. Just disconnected
it. Might be room there for your amp. There is also room beside the petrol
tank on the drivers side immediately behind the seats. Easily got at by
removing a couple of metal panels. I fitted my ham radio equipment there.
Will we see you tomorrow at the railway station around 10am for a 10:30
start?

nice one! might look into that, there are so many curves inside the boot it's impossible to find a big enough flat space, I had planned on putting it under the passengers seat! HAHA......no chance! I was going to see if there was any room to mount it under the spare tire cover, not ideal heat wise and havent even had a look yet, but I like the sound of your solution, thanks for that, will have a look when i get a chance!MX5PWR wrote:Hi from Auckland. I put my amp in the boot on the drivers side up under the rear shelf. Remove the linning that goes across by where the boot lid springs are and there is quite a bit of room in there. (this is where the space saver wheel goes in the series I)
