Bridgestone Tyres

Post by Angreal » Thu Apr 19, 2012 12:34 am

Can anyone recommend a place to buy the Bridgestone RE002 or RE11 tyres from? Also, of the two which would be the better choice for (aggressive) road driving?

Thanks

Bridgestone Tyres

Post by DBM58 » Thu Apr 19, 2012 11:24 am

In November 2011 I was looking to replace the 14" tyres on my NZ, and I learned that the Bridgeston Grid III and RE101s are no longer available. It sounds as though the reason is the same as that for the Toyos, ie. that with the increased use of 15" and greater in new cars, this sort of tyre is no longer made for 14" rims.

You're out of luck with 14s if you're after RE002s, though RE001s should be available.
