jeez, how much rear brake bias have you got.
Yes, definitely worried. Do you know if it was original Mazda or an aftermarket replacement?

Never seen the like of it.
Surely aftermarket...not sure any factory discs are slotted? DBA or Brembo or whoever would be mortified if it was one of theirs and would be keen to analyse the remains, I would have thought (and possibly replace it (and the one on the otherside) for free!

Seen it before at work,Normally due to sized brake calipers,I see it has wheel spacers as well which will add undue side forces as well,.
Brake disc are a lot softer than they used to be now days, doesn't matter where they are made or who made them either.
Definitely aftermarket ,Check his garage section DBA weren't they ?

I don't think they are spacers, Brownie, it is the top hat section of the disc.

haha I can drive the wheels off anything.
Well this happened to me a Year or so back,
its a Brembo rotor witch a friend put some slots in for me, Running pads from racebarakes.
& yes the caliper seized
Got way to hot & came all to bits on me
made a hell of a noise, i even had to put my pie down & get off the phone
