TradeMe - Not from an MX5??

In case I missed something was there ever an MX5 with front shocks that looked anything like these?

i saw that too the rear ones look like mx5 god knows what the front ones are for ive never known a mx5 to have mcpherson struts

somebody just brought them poor bugger
i posted a question on the auction to let them know about the front struts so hopefully they get that before they send a pair of shocks for god knows what and the buyer is disapointed

I was going to comment but with my track record there was probably one year
they actually fitted them. Just wanted to be sure.
