I have a 1990 1.6 mx5, my calipers and discs need to be replaced and i want to upgrade to a set with better stopping power, What is the best option to replace them with and where should i get them from? Thanks

Providing they are not too worn or corroded, your calipers can be rebuilt with a new seal kit.
For a standard 1.6, the standard brakes with good pads are more than adequate for most situations.
Last discs I bought I got from ADL.
If you are doing all this work, replace the flexible lines as well. A set of good stainless steel flexible hoses make a big difference to the brake feel as well
