Not quite sure which category this falls in to but pretty good mod for anyone with welding skills.....(or who knows a welder...)

I presume this would be NZ road legal...especially if you didn't tell them.....

In NZ everything is road legal provided the WOF guys don't notice

And when my mate passed WOF at VTNZ with a SR20DET in a S13 that came factory CA18DE with no cert I think you'll be safe

I think all the strength is in the sills & not the frame rails,so munted frame rails are not so critical from a WOF/Cert point of view.
