So I am looking to get the best out of my suspension, Im setting up to use revalved HD Bilsteins with 8Kg front springs and 6Kg rear. I just came across these Cusco Pillow ball upper mounts and noticed the RS Aizawa car uses them.

Im guessing these are just an upper mount similar to that of a coilover for a non coilover shock setup? What advantages are there if any?

i wouldnt bother with them
itll only transfer NVH to you and wont add any benefit
it may be usefull in a mcpherson strut style type set up as the shocks play more part in the setup
the small amount you may gain from them is not worth the money
