What'd it cost? Mine's driving me crazy, resonates at just over 3000 and sounds like a fly farting into a microphone.

Nice echoing off the walls of a gorge when it's being caned though...

Coming in a couple of months later on this thread I know but I just got a price for bringing ocean freight items USA to NZ Greetings, Thanks for the inquiry! We appreciate your interest in Shannon Express. We have a 1 cubic meter / 300 lb minimum for ocean freight. The minimum charge would be $647.0...

Just did a quick calculation. With their domestic rates a full set of Konis will be US$586 to Oregon. My gf is over there at the moment. That equates to NZ$735 or so. Splitting the order into two to send to NZ should miss GST, so even with postage from her to me should be cheaper than here.

Why are their Koni sports so much cheaper than over here? US$319 a pair vs NZ$544 here. With the discount that goes to US$271. Hmmm

I took my OEM mirrors off, will be replacing them with blanking plates. I'll be putting aftermarket close in ones (S14?) in up by the A pillar ultimately, but for the moment I've got cheapies from Repco there, like this but no remote adjustment.

Mounting on the front window surround was a doddle.

OK, I unzipped the window no problem with the catches released, trouble is when I zipped it back up the zip opened behind the zipper, now I can't feed it back together. The little starters on the end of the zip are long gone. Any ideas?

When you walk past your BMW and notice it's been parked so long there's a cobweb over the door.

I did that today.

OK, thanks for the answers guys. I guess I'll just leave it up, it's not like it's a huge job to take it down. Good point about the shrinkage in the cold (memories of George in Seinfeld "IT WAS COLD!") I used to have a Suzi Sumurai, tried to put the top back up midwinter after it had been down a whi...

Newbie question: is it ok to store the soft top folded?

Hi all Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I just bought an NA in the weekend (don't think I've giggled so much for so long, 5 hours drive to get it home, and I felt like turning around and doing it all over again!) Realistically the car is going to spend much of it's time in the garage waiti...
