Fitting Towbar
I have seen similar racks here. A neighbour in the Hutt used to have one on his MR2. It was a clip on that fitted to the edge of the boot lid. If you ask them nicely and they are not too busy, your local Mazda dealer should be able to pull up your VIN on his computer and give you the actual production date along with most of the basic details of how your car left the factory. Might pay to be buying something at the time you ask though. Che...

Hi Gazza My suspension is all over the garage floor so I didn't have to crawl under the car. It is out of a 96 1800 ex Japan. Front is 19.2 and the rear 11.4, both measured on the straight. If you wanted to have a look, I am in Birkenhead. Drop me a note off line or call me on 021409115. Regards Euen

Was browsing the Koni website last week and discovered that they do a screw
adjustable kit for the MX5. Lowering approx 40mm.
http://www.koni.com/_cars/_suspension/d ... d_148.html
Stock's don't have them in NZ but they will get them in on order.

Auto trans engines
Thanks Grant, Ken, Simon and Jeff.
Sorry Jeff, no forced induction planned for this project. Planning for 1800 5 speed with maybe a few little tweaks.
Simon, you got it. For those who haven't seen it, check out http://www.sportscars.net.nz/

Hi all Although not a club memeber I have been following the forum for a few months. I am currently planning a project car based on MX5 mechanicals and have a query regarding the engines used with automatic transmissions. I understand that the "auto" engines are slightly "detuned" but have not seen ...
