detonation hurt my pistons....

started cleaning up the bottom end to find a few pitt, anybody on here got some (1 or 2) pistons they can help me out with?

Im guessing its due to the "awsome tuning" the previous owner thought he would try haha

yea they have to be hubcentric bolt to hub type to even get looked at for cert, and the slide over stud ones are dodgy as f**k tbh

take it to a specialist welder who is expert at welding cast metal. cast needs to be pre heated before its welded to prevent further cracking. yea, get a dead blow hammer and go down to a tyre shop to spin them up with no tyres and belt them round again, done it a few times

easy flow on a low heat with the gas plant, the cracking of manifolds when welding is mainly due to the heat up cool down speeds, ive braised cast very slowly and it did the trick.

port matched head, intake manifold, and put valve springs/collets/new valves in with a 3 angle seat. stripped engine loom for de-looming and cleaned engine bay, also removed front bar to start fabricating my cold air intake :D
