think it falls into the to hard basket bud, could try a later model system but you would need the whole system to get flows right and handle the different refridgerants, the pumps themselves dont change a hell of alot i dont think. but may pay to contact a specialist concerning this as all we would ...

the original panasonic batery is a gel cell battery and doesnt vent into the boot a lead acid battery will vent its gas into the boot space. no dramas you may think, but anyone with a lead acid battery in their boot will have a whole bunch of rust around it those gasses will make it in to the cabin...

sounds like your alternator bearings, can you take the belt off and start the engine and see if it makes the noise still?. if it still doe than its cambelt idler/tensioner by the sounds of it

that will work, part number x references to the mx5 and a 323 and the casing etc is identical

all good, the aa guy should have been able to tell you a definate fault with the alternator, i used to do it for state and it seems poor of him to say it maybe the reg, worst case is take the car to a wrecker to get a 2nd hand one or PM brownie and he can send you one from chch

i think a general round about charge for alternator replacements is around 350 to 400ish fitted at a garage. just to give you an idea so you dont get ripped off

get a multimeter on the battery and check charging voltage with car running, then check the regulator by turning all the lights etc on to see how much of a current/voltage drop there is, the battery light isnt always a definate. should be charging between 13.8-14.5volts let me know how you get on, i...

Haha I loved how almost every car that broke when on the skidpad was a Skyline, or their mates had a Skyline there and thus were affiliated with the Skyline theyre called a c*****s for a reason haha every cu*t has one lol that and because they all just wind the boost up cos its sick as bro, it goes...

Checked the tyre pressures on the way home today, 40psi all round :oops: should have checked them after getting new tyres last month Jesus!!! did the tyre shop do that? if they did they are idiots! its not uncommon for 35 to 45 profile tyres to run 40psi, i had a toyota soarer that i had to run 52p...

Nice sewing job on the bumper, Frankenstein would be proud. Splitter looks great but no idea what you've grafted to make it.. Go on, whats the trick? Those rims are gunna look sweet, a quick polish job on the lip would add some bling... its a p10 primera front bumper lip from factory, bolts up fine...

Wow very nice. I'd like to think that one day i'd tidy my car up to the extreme like this but that won't happen.
