all buddy club exhausts will pass a wof for noise if the factory cat is still in the jasma spec is 90db with the cat in. i would suspect even the racing beat exhaust might be to loud for the road if you remove the cat .

first of all how long has it been doing this for ?
it might not be in the link at all .
if it has been doing this all along i would be looking at the cold start settings and idle settings .
if it is something that has just started to happen then it could be leads, plugs, timeing etc.

you can not say if Gaurd Rolling is paint safe with out seeing the car and even then some times the paint cracks , it all depends on wot repairs and how good the repairs have been done .on new cars I have never cracked the paint .

carbon wrap

I did my hard top in matt black . the rear curves take alot of working and alot of heat to shrink it ,mine came out really well. if you are going to use carbon do not use 3M DI-NOC as it will not go around the curves you need 1080 .

The loom has to be a 97 . To put the whole loom in you have to remove the dash, heater, air con, headligts, bumper, ect . So it is faster and easyer to use the 1.6 stuff or you could use a wire in ecu.

you can not use a bp ecu on a b6 loom . Because a b6 uses group fire injectors and bp uses sequential injectors , you can ues the b6 ecu.
also the 97s use a different ecu and the plugs don't match.have a look on flyin miata under Technical information it tells you how to do a 1800 swap

welding any other metal to titanium will not last as titanium becomes brittle at the joint . best thing to do would be to have a exhust shop cut out the weld and put in a slip joint and clamp .
