I've used 5W-30 fully synthetic since I've owned it. The gauge drops down to ~4kg/cm^2 at idle but pins itself around 2000rpm. The engine barely burns oil, even with my spirited driving (top up maybe once every 700km). I might have a look at replacing the sender unit anyway. Its probably a bit tired...

Is it a good or a bad thing that the gauge pins itself at max when it revs above 1000rpm?

Well when you like to modify for appearance its difficult to not draw attention. Stay legal, drive responsibly and park in safe areas and you shouldn't have any troubles.

How about those earthquakes?

Wellington area roll call? I know there's a few of us at least..

And I hope your Roadsters are nice and safe! The last thing you'd want is something falling over and damaging your pride and joy.

Man they're still going. Another happened seconds after I posted this!

Scroll down a little bit for the removal steps: http://revlimiter.net/mods/garagevarytails.php I replaced all my bulbs with LEDs for less load, more brightness and longer life. This site gives you all the bulb types: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/led-vehicle-replacement-bulbs/vehicle/1991-mazda...

Yeah well recently I have noticed just how much more attention dished, low offset wheels and a low ride height attract the police. I haven't been pulled up yet, but I've had a couple mufti cars jump on the brakes and pull a U-turn as soon as they passed me. Both times during the heavy 3pm school tra...

If I didn't have the fancy OEM mats with the metal badge in them I'd look at replacing. But I don't want to ditch the bling .

Yeah I've seen some with the metal ring in them. That would be ideal, but mine don't have that :?.

Slipping/folding floor mats

I can't be the only one with mats that slide forward and fold up right behind the pedals. For now I've taken the driver's one out since its kind of dangerous, and it drives me mad. I've tried a bunch of things to fix this such as velcro strips, sticky rubber 'non slip' things (got doitzed on that on...

Yeah I asked the same question when I first got my Roadster haha. I was getting like 400km out of a tank, so you're not alone. I haven't done much to try and fix it (I just keep putting it off like the lazy student that I am), but its gotten slightly better with the 2.5" system that I have now insta...

Can't say I hate it. But it doesn't really suit a near-factory Roadster. If it had other 'functional' mods, or a bumper cut-out then it would be better.

Nah everything else went smoothly. I gave him the spec sheet for the Falkens to show that the stretch was legal, so there was no question there. I was stuck at 2 and a 1/4 degrees :x so he gave me the option to raise it till the camber could be set at 2 degrees, or I could go away and get some eccen...

Booyakasha. Passed my cert. Had to raise the rear ~10mm to get within camber tolerance but I'm all good with that. +/- 5% gives me 14mm to play with anyway.

Hmmm, I'm at 285mm :?. Hopefully I can get away with it.

I fixed a split in my headphone's cord with some Plastidip. Not sure if that'd work larger scale but its flexible and waterproof so with enough of it you'd be sweet :D

But with enough duct tape you can fix anything so there's always that
