if i buy a car that needs a re-vin i'll add $2000 to the cost on top of repairs that i can see for the vin check, repair cert, rego, and any other small repairs thatll also need doing when it fails the vin inspection.

its just that the bore diameter of the bore fits the hub and the adapter fits inside the center bore of the wheel so no need for rings

i think they were close to $400 for the set

I had a set made by Znoelli for Hayleys car. http://www.znoelli.co.nz/Products/WheelSpacers They are hubcentric and also wheelcentric so you dont need extra hubcentric rings. They aren't as cheap as the Chinese ones but they are very good quality https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn...

First off, get a wheel alignment and some nice tyres,
it'll feel better, tyres make a huge difference on these cars. You may like to lower it at this stage too.

If you still aren't happy with it get a full suspension bush kit and it'll drive like a new car

if your battery went flat on a hot day, it is likely a warn switch.
they get hot and turn the high beams on (and you wont notice since the headlights stay down)

you will need a repair cert not a low volume cert for the repairs
Here is a list of repair certifiers throughout the country.

If you are using the standard ecu you wont be able to feed it the wide band signal since it uses a 5v output and a narrow band uses 1v. Wideband controllers like Innovate have two separate configurable outputs so you can use one with a linea 5v output to go to the gauge and a 1v narrowband simulatio...

And get saving for an LVV cert... or at least talk to a certifier. A while ago someone asked about auto->manual swaps on the LVVTA forum, despite everything being a direct replacement, they considered changing the brake pedal assembly to be a modification that required cert. the clutch pedal is a s...

You wont need a taillight converter. That's only for if a trailer only has park/stop lights and no amber indicator light it'll make the stop light flash. you would be hard pressed to find a decent trailer in NZ without turn signals. i think they are mostly in America.

The clutch is a separate pedal to the brake and accelerator. you dont need to remove anything thats on the car other than the auto stuff. The hole is even through the firewall for the clutch master. A nissan probably has all 3 pedals on a single unit or has a single reservoir for both brake and clut...
