What about a missing capital W at the start of a sentance, full stop at the end, and is 'spellings' a valid word?

I did not think that the Stratos had a back seat but from memory the Transit's claim to fame was it's contribution to the progress of early 70's rock bands - Slade etc - hence the need for the back seat area.

Air filtration test for K&N on a Miata 92

I did not buy the exhaust as well - Mr Stewart would not sell it without looking at the car - he said that he has encountered enough variations in his time to not be confident that whatever he sold me would fit.

re[3]: Air filtration test for K&N on a Miata 92

Thanks. You are right about the hole-saw, the largest that I have is 2 1/2 inches. I will try and find a rubber grommett to fit around the edges. The sticky-backed foam rubber tape that came with it just seems too awkward to use and will probably look ugly. That is a good suggestion about the mesh, ...

Well, I am now in possession of a brand new shiny Loch Stewart cold-air box. Just before I cut a 3-inch hole at the top of the fire-wall, would you have any thoughts on how this may affect structural integrity - it is a rather large hole after all.

Thanks

Not too sure what you are refering to, but I had a Haynes manual ordered through Whitcoulls. Technical Books in Newmarket (Auckland) may also be able to help.

I spoke to Mr Stewart and he quoted me Aus$300. Freight will be added to that. He said that packed the parcel would measure about 25 x 25 x 50cm and be quite manageable to carry. He was very reluctant to discuss supplying a set of extractors because without seeing the current set, he could not guara...

I am currently thinking very seriously about investing in a Loch Stewart cold air box, as seen at http://www.miata.net.au/loch.htm.

Has anyone fitted one of these units, and what are your findings?

Thanks

I have just noticed that my fuel gauge is not working at all. I have checked the fuses - even though the other gauges are functioning as normal. I have even checked that there is fuel in the tank (it's full now). Has anyonoe had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks David Moughtin Nati...

A good night's sleep is letting me think a little clearer - why even use a graduated pipette when you already have a graduated buerette to measure the volume that you put in in the first place. Isn't that what chemists use when they are carrying out titrations?

If you sucked it out using a graduated pipette you would not need the expensive accurate scales.

Spare Relocation Experience?

When the "Fix A Flat" type canisters were first available, I understood that while they sorted out your immediate problem, they crerated another in that the tyre was no longer able to be re-used. Is this still the case?
