I've had a search online and it seems the NA has a 10mm x 1.25 thread. Can anyone confirm this?

Gear knob; recommendations & size of thread

I'm looking for a nice plain, spherical, brushed alloy gear-knob. Something like this from GarageStar: http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab191/amaurosisbrown/gear%20knob/edabbc04-0a31-48b2-962f-122fb2acd091.jpg Or this from MX5 Mania: http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab191/amaurosisbrown/gear%20k...

It's also bright blue! And I parked it on a residential street instead of a shopping mall car-park as I thought it would be safer.
The one good thing is the nose needs a respray, so will get that done at the same time

Thanks for the feedback guys. Today I drove 120k and the speakers sounded perfect, although there was no one in the passenger seat. Will be pretty simple to affix the speakers to the screw-holes from the originals. Will try that in the weekend. On a slightly sadder note, I had someone reverse into m...

New Headrest Speakers fitted

So I bought a '92 NA6 last month, and the first thing I needed to do was replace the passenger headrest speakers (they were blown). I decided on the Boschmann 3" speakers: http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab191/amaurosisbrown/MX5%20speakers/86352f3c-1483-4aed-83ac-d3e6fa6b55cc.jpg So with the cloc...

Tauranga Garage/Mechanic

A query for Bay of Plenty MX-5 owners. I've just moved to Papamoa Beach and would like to know if anyone has a recommendation for an MX-5 friendly garage or mechanic in the Bay of Plenty area.

I've owned my MX-5 for two months and I'd like the brakes and thermostat looked at. Cheers in advance. :D

Etchonline sell the 3" speakers for $30, but they also do wee little 1" tweeters for $10 (these would fit nicely in the original speaker cases).
Do the door speakers do the bulk of the work? Are the headrests just filling in?

Headrest Speakers - Boschmann 3"

I bought my MX-5 just a week ago, so this will be my first post of many. The passenger headrest speakers were blown, so I have removed them, and am looking for a replacement. Has anyone tried the 3" Boschmanns? Could I use a couple of 1" tweeters? I'm 43 and will mostly be playing my Wedding Present...
