Apparently exactly the same valve but just with a heavier spring. I wouldn't have thought the standard one would lose you one psi though, but then I have done zero reading on superchargers. Oh and from Fastforward: PCV valve (323 GTX turbo) - Purolator PV1014 AC - CV924C Champ - PC175 Fram - FV275 M...

So its only AC and PS on that belt? That's an easy fix!

In my defence I only glanced under the bonnet because I was late anyway.

So 'er indoors took the mazda out for a drive a couple of days ago, and when she got back she said there was a leaf caught in the heater fan making a noise when the fan was on. Not really a high priority fix I thought, until I tried to take the car to work today. Turned out the noise had been the ai...

Materials plus I do all cutting and grinding, he'll do the welding for a dozen.

Plus he's setting up a jetboat and wants me to solder up an MS when i do mine.

He's got a full workshop, everything short of a dyno.

Yeah, trouble is I've got a welder champing at the bit to make me a manifold, but i need to know what turbo i'm going to be using before I can unleash him. There's a GT2860 on TM at the moment which has apparently done 400km but suspiciously cheap for a garret. Anybody know anything about the CT20 f...

Yeah, the TD04 is standard on the wrx apparently and often replaced by a bigger TD05. If I could find one an oem off an sr20det would be good too, they'r garretts and ball raced.

I want a second hand turbo

Wanting to go the turbo route soon, and I'm looking round for an internal wastegated one that won't break the bank. Something like a TD04 would be fine. The trouble is I'm hesitant to go the TM route where I can't view before forking over the cash, I'd rather buy secondhand from someone I know. Anyo...

Just don't rinse the kero off in my neck of the woods, else I may have to infringe your ass :D Yes I'm an enforcement officer with the Regional Council. Actually you could try mixing some detergent with the kero, that would make it hose off better. The other thing to try may be Jif cleaner, I use it...

If I found some seats that were advertised as Brides but were half the expected price and obviously mounted differently then yes I would be happy, if they suited MY purpose and were the right price. I think Furai would have a good point if they were advertised as Harddog or MSNZ approved or even if ...

I bought a style bar from ross some time back that was only ever referred to as a roll bar in his advertising. I didn't expect anything more than I got, based on the price, and i wasn't upset at all by it being referred to as a roll bar. I don't think there was anything wrong with referring to these...

Don't worry, SkilletKid, it'll be set up with MS as well. Any of the bandaids are a waste of time and effort as far as I'm concerned. The one on page one of the thread is a rough prototype, he gets to a better quality further on. If you're after real top end flow, you'd need to go to a squid type an...

Planning on buying one of these, any comments?

http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=126128&page=1 $650-$700 with stainless and braided hoses kit. They take a TD-04 which are pretty reasonably priced second hand. I've been tossing up buying Begi or FM but they're just so damn expensive. Don't really have the capability of making my ow...

Easy. Just drive faster than everything else on the road. That way you never have to look behind you.

I like mine, mounted up on the A pillar. You don't have to turn your head so much with them up forward.

If you can set up as a one man band there are heaps of tax breaks available, so long as you're disciplined with bookkeeping. Lot of niche markets in the building industry too, I've got a mate in Auckland that just builds decks. Of course, there's always Christchurch. Plenty of building work down here!

Bummer to hear that. I'm kind of outspoken too, and with a new boss who I regularly lock horns with. At least she has a sense of humour, I told her the other day that I think of her while I'm having sex, because it makes me last longer.
