Decided a Driveshaft loop was needed before i cracked on with painting the floor.. probably weighs more than the carbon fibre driveshaft tube.. for reference spec is 50x5 mild steel, 4x m10 fasteners and minimum 30cm2 for each mounting plate. Has to be within 250mm of the centre of the front univers...

Good progress yesterday with a visit from my mate , roof bracketing all sorted (so the cage is now ready for paint) , new turbo core installed, and some of the finer points of the turbo and heater coolant lines completed.. More cage work today. It's still RWD through a running an Nismo RB26 GTR clutch into a Nissan 370 Z 6 speed, carbon fibre prop shaft to evo rear diff which has been inserted into the Mx5 subframe. engine wise it's technically it's an early vr4 block fitted with an evo 4+ head (which is a bit of a mission) but no-one care...
