Thanks guys! Couldn't work out if I needed to buy the $50 part sets they sell at the car shops or could get away with just the $10 pockets on Trade Me etc

Changing double din to single din head unit

Hi guys
Can anyone tell me what parts I need to change the double din in my MX5 to a new single din head unit?

Installations at audio places are through the roof expensive and my partner can easily do it for me - just need the correct pieces!

Cheers everyone for the advice, I'll do a bit of researching into these and hopefully have it all done this weekend. No more manual unlocking will be the best bit :roll:

Thanks guys for all your advice and suggestions, I've shown my father this link and we've decided to go with the car! Very exciting! I'm mostly excited about the cheap mechanic bills compared to the dreaded BMW! :lol:
