Diffs are better and stronger in NB and 1800cc, 1600cc NA have either Viscous or open diff with 6 tooth head, not as strong as 8 tooth head and open or Torsen diff in the 1800cc. Spacer works if you have a wheel that adapts with a bosskit, I went for a 20mm. Some come with the longer bolts some dont. Check out Moonlight Racing (MLracing.co.nz I think) they have some HKB ones.

Yeah and there pretty strong to go with, its what happens when you buy good wheels.

My Watanabes that are coming are 4.5Kg each 11Kg with tire. The TE37s look good!

Good to see another tall person in one of these great machines, Im 18 and 195cm so not quite your height or build(Im pretty skinny) but I found a spacer on the wheel helps alot.

You might want to have a look into Elise seats or buckets though.

I looked into aftermarket headers but the stocks ones arent that inefficient, they do crack though so replacing them can be cheaper. My understanding from the results I read on the dyno are a 1hp gain if your lucky, thats with no other work done to the engine. I would rather spend the money on a bet...
