Going out for a few laps on the track = broken GTR. Hence when I really started looking for an MX-5 as an alternative! Nah, haven't gone down to look at it yet - mainly because he won't budge at all on the price and when you ask him to take even a few hundred off for the power steering pump replace...

Dave is a nice and extremely knowledgeable guy. Worked with Nissan for 20 years or something like that. He's a Z specialist but isn't cheap by any means.

Thanks guys. Apparently the motor came from Japan in 2000 and it was rebuilt when it arrived in NZ, along with a new turbo. I will ask for receipts as he said he has some.
