The UK site decided NZ wasn't on their post radar. Yeah it happens, 99% of the time costs the same as postage to Aus. -meh they can't list every country! I just emailed them, they got back to me pretty quick. Quote was cheap & it arrived in a week. I also got their install DVD, it made it SO easy t...

A nice tidy idea but personally more effort than necessary. Work smarter not harder pal. By the time you drive to bunnings/mitre10/jaycar/repco/supercheap you could have it done and there is no guarantee you can find the type of plug you want. It will take you about 15min to wire up the trail...

one question tho' ... would I be correct in assuming that the slightly longer springs are for the front? Yeah longer ones in front. I did get them wrong one day (hungover, very bright day & I didn't have a pair if sunnys), the nose down/arse up hotrod look doesn't really suit an Mx5...maybe with so...

The batteries will reduce in capacity to 80% after 3000 charges. If I charge it twice a week the batteries will last about 28 years. 3000 charges before the batts even drop to 80%!! Now I failed maths but my calculator tells me at 130km per charge is 390000km. Ok and at $3.50 a charge that equals $...

That's what I would do, surely to get the same performance as hydraulic you would need to upgrade your rear calipers substantially?(expensively?) Baring in mind of course that if have an accident and your car is inspected and found to have modifications that arnt WOF standard, you run the risk of pr...

Funnyly enough riding a motorbike & driving a truck require very similar defensive driving styles.
When on a bike you expect people not to see you, when driving a truck you know people see you but you expect them to pull out in front of you anyway.

I ride a motorbike & I'm kinda ok with the increased ACC on it, a crash at 50kph on a bike will cost ALOT more in rehablitation than the same crash in a car! Thats my choice to put myself in danger, so yeah I'll step up & pay the extra rego. It sucks if its not my fault but that's what ACC is about....

I absolutely love the idea of an electric car! Yours has an almost factory finish under the bonnet, well done. No doubt quite satisfying to drive about. I very rarely travel more than 130km in a day but if I did (at my current mileage rate) it would cost me $23... I'm sure you get peppered with ques...

Don't get me wrong I'm all about saving money/not wasting gas but I just hope you have run the numbers as to how much 'extra' per tank you will save by spending money to fix this issue. At some point this is going to be an uneconomic exercise, you have already dished money & time on a new O2 sensor....

Mine had this issue when I bought it. Remove the glovebox and you can check the cable between the dash lever & the heater matrix (unit that has all the air direction flaps inside). I did while I researched purchasing rubber bung companies as I heard there's a gap in the market.
