Very well Bill... by sheer force of pathetic masculine prowess and inability to spot ANY tongue in cheek comments, you win. I shall not respond to any more of your personal rubbish. I believe you have worked out that by abusing people at a personal level, threatening them and in general throwing you...

I do not understand how just asking someone to settle down a little and measure their response to decent folk on this list (as I have never disagreed with Bill over MX5 stuff) suddenly gets to be a challenge to Bill's masculinity... why do you decide I'm suddenly a "gelding"? Your responses lie in a...

Not afraid William... simply that you have made stupid threats to
people in the past... and you clearly have absolutely no sense of humour.

Hello Joan, I'm setting up a "B... R... Survivors encounter group" and wondered if you would like to join. We will meet at any arrogant Fuel Service Centre and share our experiences. Perhaps we might be able to form some sort of politcal wing or pressure group and we could all write to Parliament wi...

No, its not you Richard... definitely not you... or the 95% of the forum... or not even those that have left. The man seems to have some really good things to say and some really valuable input, but rises to any reflective comment with some vitriol. I've found its hard to be amused after it escalate...

Ah you speak the truth there Ian. I'm a born and bred Cantabrian, went to the right schools, came in on the second wave of ships la de da, own a red MX with a black hood (Is there any other colour?) and of course have ended up living and working in Auckland these last five years. Best thing is ribbi...

Make it look like a van and rock it around for a while. Then everyone will think you're having some "teenage" problems instead. Might get rid of the rain tho. And all these issues with the hood!!! When I got the roof replaced i paid the extra $100 for the glass window. No issues, can't unzip. Folds ...

I used to just punch them right on the nose when they said that sort of thing, but people threatened me with expulsion from the MX5list, so I tried a different way. Now I just flip my loose wrist at them and walk away with a cutsey sway of my hips. They never say it again... and curiously they alway...

Golly... all these wonderful newbies with Mx5s. Welcome to the world of fun trouble free motoring. I've had my red 92 for 6 years now, tuned it 3x, new roof, tyres and seatbelts. One window winder. That's it. The car runs like a gem and is so much fun. I want to keep it forever and the big plus is t...

Re Speeding up windows
Same happened to me. I improved it a little but eventually the entire
mechanism had to be replaced. It felt like the handle was goingto
break off as I attempted to wind. The wheels and the cable simply
begin to bind with age.
