Memories of Japan

An old running buddy of mine got married to a Japanese laday a few years ago and I went to Japan for his wedding. Toured the country armed with a backback and a JR Rail Pass for about 1 month (from the top to the bottom) what adventures I had -seems like a distant memory now. Anyway, if I remember r...

Going from Wainui to Porirua, I get to start with the "Hill" :D then some motorway, then over the haywards, then some twisty coastline, then a bit more motorway to finish it off. On a nice day like today, it's a great little drive! speaking of the Wa...

MX5's everywhere!

Funny how as soon as you become an (enthusiast) owner you start noticing MX-5's everywhere.

Beautiful sunny day here in Wellington today, and I saw no less than 4 MX-5's on my commute out to Porirua and back this morning.

One of them even smiled at me :D

Small world!

I've been outed! Yep, that's me. Teaching 6 classes a week at the moment (4 for Bodyworks) on top of my day-job at the Bank. BTW I won't be putting those plates on the Turbo, I have another set that has been sitting in storage (QUIDAM) -they will be going on the new car, and my LIMBER plates will be...

Thanks Jim Well, not that I'm any expert or anything (far from it in fact) but from the test drive the big things I noticed were: 1) Quiet! I was not expecting this, but there was much less engine noise -I wonder if this is something to do with the turbo mechanism. My very basic understanding of tur...
