Nice driving for your first track day! I always look to see how much people use their mirrors on track, and you seemed to be well aware of who was around you at all times. Nice going :)

The police have a pretty good starting point at the owners of the property, or their daughter. It's not like the car was found dumped anonymously in a street. No guarantee that a prosecution is possible, but they have some investigative starting point. Its not even close to enough. The owners have ...

That really sucks man :( Even IF you find what the tag is (looks like 808 to me) AND find out who is in that 'crew' what evidence do you have that those people are even remotely involved? The answer is unfortunately none. Not enough to warrant looking into, and certainly not enough to affect an arre...

I question the logic of a spare wheel. You find that other parts on the car fail as often, if not more so than the tyres get a puncture. With regard to the relocation mod, I hear that replacing the muffler with a smaller capacity one (as is required) can result in unpleasant droning at motorway spee...

Re: Audio Upgrade

snip Your best bang for buck will be in replacing the door speakers for some components. That is, speakers that come with separate tweeters. You mount the bass units in the original location, and then the tweeters up at the top of the door, facing you, as far forward along the door as you can. If y...

Lookin good!

My only slight concern is that it looks like you may have the fuse mounted some distance from the battery terminal. Even as far away as on the other side of a bulkhead? Given the gauge of the wire, as close to the terminal as possible might have been preferable.

Pretty standard in here, but an ipod dock and charger incorporated into the ashtray looks kinda factory and gives my old gen4 ipod a task to perform :) Wood has been replaced by metal now. Home made windblocker. Best addition ever for motorway driving and when its a bit chilly out. Important to have...

Even if you can use an adhesive plate, it still wont be mounted vertically, which is still not legal. I think the conclusion should probably be drawn, that its not legal to use adhesive plates, and you risk being fined and having to argue your case ( afterwards , dont try and argue at the roadside f...

Have you thought about just bunging in some NB tophats in the rear? Im pretty sure they swap out and are about an inch higher than NA ones. Might want to look into that for a cheap solution. The rear being lower than the front will cause understeer, and make the car more unstable at high speeds beca...

Ok, tried out some smoothing, and tried a few different fonts. I think the other one looks just fine, but fonts are quite personal things I guess. I think once people have settled on a design, it would be good to take that one and clean it up properly. That's a job for later though. http://www.lfsnz...

Im not sure it's a good way of loosing static weight from the front of the car. You wont take much more than a kilo at most off a flywheel. It wont make much of a difference to wheelspin, but the performance effects are similar to just loosing weight from the car overall. As you go up the gears the ...

Here is my preference. I removed the NC as no-one on here who posts up has one and it did look a little wonky. I also replaced the springs in the cars, and un-rollerskated the wheels a little as they were a tad undersized. As above, those who want the sticker to have the appearance of no-springs and...
