Hey Gazza, Uniden do a relay module for garage doors, I fitted one to mine in the last house and removed it and fitted it to the gate in this house, its just a relay module and is reasonably easy to fit if you're electrically minded - instructions included, and you can program it to work off any of ...

While I'm sure you want to replace the one you've broken/mangled/whatever... The need may not be quite as urgent as you think... Many cars have been running for years without them. Fletch. I can attest to that, once the mounting nuts break off on the standard exhaust you soon get sick of the rattli...

Re: front number plate mounting
I've had mine in the intake on both a 1990 and a 1994 with no noticeable loss of cooling - they were both stock engines though, so if you have a big intercooler in there its probably not a wise decision

Soft tops with glass windows and no zip?
Noticed these on trademe recently, how does that work then? I have the top in my 1994 replaced with glass, its got the zip though - obviously the lid won't go down with it zipped up (unlike plastic, glass doesn't fold in half for some crazy reason!). Are these tops somehow different? I love the new ...

The band I've been playing in for the last 9 months, self-destructed a few weeks ago. I'm currently 'resting' but hopefully putting something together in a few weeks. Could always use a good drummer if you're keen? I play lead and bass, was playing bass regularly up until the last band - I've amasse...

Forced Induction on a budget
Ok guys, its time I got a little more power... Please recommendations as to the best way to do this on a budget! Not neccesarily the cheapest but bearing in mind I have a wife and 8 guitars to support (and another on the way!) Reconditioned Turbo? What will fit etc.... Although I'm a web programmer ...

Re: Head rebuild
Damn - comiserations. With the head refurb, what did you tackle yourself & which bits did you get others to do ? What prompted the work in the first place ? Regards, It started to smoke when warm :( I'm hoping it was the valve guide seals and not piston rings, I refurbished the head myself the firs...

Head refurbished, broke the thermostat (was Bugger...)
ok, finally got round to having the head refurbished and the guys couldn't find anything major wrong with the rebuild I did - valve seats needed a bit more polish and they changed the guide seals again. So I put it together again today after a visit to repco (I was in a hurry) for a thermostat and g...

That's the thing... I don't like the flow, it is like a watergun and is pretty useless... The fluidic system makes the 'jet' into a fan pattern spray and will cover much more area... look at the photos between MX-5 and Tribute comparisons on Page 3... :P I like new tech that functions well  Of...

Alarms...
no alarm in the new models just an immobiliser, we'd like potential thieves to be deafened so I guess it needs an alarm that sets itself when the key is removed, or with the immobiliser?
