I won £50 after a MX5parts.uk survey!!

So now I need to spend it :D
They are selling a book called "MX-5 Performance Projects" has anyone read it/any good?
The Blue one still sits in the Garage (3years now) waiting for me to save up to a E-MANAGE so the Turbomachine can run as it should.

My JBWeld died ;-( so I had to have the sump welded when I had the engine out.

It seems that the JBWeld (and its likes) seeps oil - not ideal.

C
I used Kneed It, no leaking yet, maybe I should get it brazed?

Tapping the pan

Have just taken off the the turbo and manifold for some painting, and the oil return hose was so brittle so it just broke. I had the return connected to the std pos under the oil filter. Now I want to have it direct attached to the oilpan, anyone can tell me what connector you used and do we have so...

Bipes

This thing looks nice, it suit my "KISS" aproach to the project.
anyone else have experience with this unit?

What about water injection? came across this on the miataturbo.net
seems simple to build and use it together with oxyclamp (signal)
anyone made a W.I here? :?:

Got the WOF yesterday and went for a short drive(2 years since last time and it felt great!! :D ) Did some testruns and the diagnosis of not enough petrol seems right. 5psi at 2500rpm but no increased power, at 4000rpm kick in the butt(always thought it was turbolag). Will start by installing a fuel...

VIKING: what turbo are you running?? must be fairly big for you to be getting a kick at 4200rpm.... Either that or you seriously need an O2 clamp to get more fuel under 4000rpm. (what are you using for engine management/extra fuelling??) My turbo hits 8 psi at 3000 rpm and goes like a cut cat all t...

Re: HANDS UP ALL THE TURBO FIVES.... :)

Unless he's changed it recently, VIKING runs a T25 and an AFPR...! [Posted via External Email] Jeff you know more about my Turbo when me :D The AFPR did not get installed (no instruction) so it is exactly as you saw it 2 or 3 years ago. That's the thing, It is not any exiting setup. It's an old HKS setup bought from Japan. Turbo is a TD05 or TD04 very similar to a GREDDY starter kit(same Turbo), set to max 5 PSI. Nothing more added, have a Variable Pressure Regulator sitting on the shelf, will this help? I'm not after MEGA hp just ...

a new one and it wold be a lot easier with a diagram.

Well the speed on the wipers is slow, thats why people is
relying on the magic of Rain-X.
If you want to speed up the wipers you probably have to find
a electric motor higher rpm.
