there is something on miata .net about later hardtops having different locating nipples in the front clamps .. not the not the whole clamp just the bit that locates into the windscreen header they are replacable but you need to remove the latch to see how

Make sure you run it long enough for the fan to run and the thermostat to open when you are refilling
Avoid getting an airlock they seem a bit fussy on this

Well due for a cambelt no record of it being done so its on the list
Body is 200000km motor is unknown as its a long nose crank replacement at some point not the 1989 original

Just checked the wheels i have on and they are 14x6 38p offset made in japan and stamped 5.5 kg
looking better now i may paint them til a bargain pops up

How much was shipping from japan ? through moonlight or private? If i find some nice 14x6 or 6.5 or 7 in good offset im in Roads are bad enough down here that i dont want to lower much or go to low profile tyres A little lower and a little fatter filling the guard would be nice without making an ill...
