Not this time...

Pressing (and holding) the clock button only turns the clock on or off in he display, it does not flash at all. Please look at the photo in the "garage" section to see the stereo. The LCD screen tilts up to insert the CDs or Tapes. The TV and Navi system does not work in NZ. Cheers Stevo

maybe you could disconnect the battery at 11:59 this saturday and then reconnect it at 12:00....then your clock will reset to the correct time.

maybe its time for a new MP3 player.. :D i think JVC do a very nice double din one that accepts USB drives and SD cards as well as CD/DVD..

Rapid Radio in Auckland sold me a very nice Panasonic CQ-C5355N - has both the USB port and an I-pod cable.

Whatever an I-pod is. :)

Hey peter..
what are the menus like to use when in USB mode??
Are the folders easy to navigate??

I have several 2GB usb drives and am looking for an EASY to navigate stereo when in USB mode...the sony ones will only allow 6 virtual folders with 100 songs and i want to be able to read my folders as they SHOULD be read...

quote from manual on the headunits usb devices and its limits
"folders(albums) 512; files(tracks) 65535"

sorry for the delay, have been playing.

The manual states
  • maximum number of folders = 255
  • maximum number of files in one folder = 999
  • maximum number of files = 65535
I've loaded the 1Gb stick with around 500 songs on 12 folders, did one with three trees, needed the remote to navigate but each folder clearly came up with it's name, all the way down to the bottom level.

hope this helps?

Peter
