I'm trying to replace the standard chrome screw on the back plate, with a
frankenstein bolt. It looks like the standard screw comes out, and then has
to be fitted from underneath, to screw into the base of the frankenstein
bolt. Only trouble is, that the access hole to the underneath looks like it
needs a trained monkey. Am I missing something?
Oh, BTW, we now have 10+ cars coming on the Warbirds trip - always room for
1 more.
Thanks, Mike

The Frankenstein "bolts" are actually a fancy nut which screws onto a short
8mm stud, which is screwed into the nuts in the body.

Hi Mike,
This has given me an interesing mental picture! I have been trying to work out
what part of the car you are referring to, what you are trying to do and
why.
Can you enlighten us further

Thanks Glenn, this looks what has happened, the head of the Frankenstein
bolt has come away from the stud. Thanks for the advice.
