Figured its been a couple of years since I participated in the mx5 club despite being a member and noticed they have an event open to all mx5s on November 4 which also coincides with my birthday.
Picnic from 10am to 1.30 at the watene reserve at okahu bay with a $5 donation towards the Westpac helicopter (good cause) and the aim to basically show off mx5 numbers. Be very hard to miss, just look for the crowd of cars that looks like yours
Be good to see some of you fullas there

Huh, all my panels match in colour (if faded)so I can't beat that.
Ok I concede to the clear winner.

Damn, I'd be keen to come along to this with my new camera to play around with and take some shots, but I've got a brunch date from 10-1.
Possible solution is brunch with MX-5s

If the weather is poo then the club plans to go on a cruise instead which is also good

They'll make the call on Saturday so I'll post up the details/plan on Saturday evening but weather is looking promising
---------------
Reminder time, don’t forget our MX5 Show and Shine 10.00am to 1.30pm, Watene Reserve Okahu Bay Tamaki Drive. This not a concourse event just a chance to show off our cars have a picnic and chat about our mighty cars. We hope to also raise a few dollars for the Westpac Rescue helicopter so a donation of $5.00 per car is asked for. I will have a barby for those want to cook a sausage or two.So come on out give the old girl a spruce up and enjoy other MX5ers.
Should the weather not co-operate a cancellation will go out Saturday. Should this happen a short CBD run is arranged at 10.00am at the park.
See you there.
