Do i need one?
Insert a check valve in the vacuum line going
to the solenoid that feeds the charcoal canister.
Be sure that you put it in the correct line (the
one between the manifold and the solenoid, not
the line between the solenoid and the canister)
and in the correct orientation (with the blue side
towards the solenoid

you could do that or remove the solinoid and canister all together

So whats the reason for the solenoid/canister in the fisrt place?

I like the idea of removing parts that i dont need!

its to catch the hydrocarbons coming out of the tank then the solinoid shoots it off to the engine to be burnt later on

here is some help with what to do to remove it all

this way it just vents it into the sub frame

just throw a cheap check valve in it. i did that to mine when i turbo'd. a quick trip to pick a part for some bits and pieces and i was set.
