Looking for "Franchise" member ...

Sorry all - I am looking for a member who used to be on the mailing list. He was based on the North Shore and involved in the Franchise Mag business. Sorry for the sketchy details - but if anyone has his contact details of email could they please PM me.

Haven't been a part of this new set-up - I used to enjoy the list and chat on it too much, but find this much more of a hassle to use. Saved me some productive time, though!

Hi Simon

It shouldn't be any more of a hassle. It works exactly the same as the
previous list if you click the "My Email Subs" link and tick all the boxes.

All the posts will be sent to you via email, and you can reply by email.
Just the same as the previous list. You never have to visit the
website if you don't want to...

Yes, but I have to go into it rather than have nice little messages arrive in my in-box - I used to enjoy those until a few cretins abused it and spoiled it for the rest of us.

One of the cool things of this forum is the lack of abuse, the other cool thing is you can go to your settings and have all new postings emailed to you.

Not bad, less than before and a little less light hearted but helps keep in touch with what's going on.

If you set it up as per my last post, all the messages will arrive in
your inbox via email. You NEVER have to 'go into' the website again -
it works exactly as per the previous email list (actually, better for a
number of reasons...).

Actually, this may be confusing to other people as well... The ONLY
reason I gave in and set up a forum was because I found the 'mail2forum'
plugin, which means each user can use it EITHER:
A/ as a web based forum, OR
B/ fully as a mailing list (just like the previous MX5 Club list).

Have a look at my previous post, and a quick read of the FAQ if you have
time. If you tick the boxes for "My Email Subs", everything will be
emailed to you and appear in your inbox. Just like magic
