Hi,

I had message from meber of Miata.Net who wants to buy rear under skirt from Ross.
He's trying to contact Ross via email but obviously no reply so far and wandering if Ross is still in business.
I also experienced slow fresponce for email based enquiry, I usually need 3 to 4 emails (one per week) to get attention.

Is anyone can help this poor fellow MX5 lover to get information through?

I know Ross, and as far as I know he is still in business, and not away. He usually posts a message somewhere if he goes on holiday (like his honeymoon recently).

People often tell me that it can take days to get a response via email from him though.

Unfortunately some people in business are just not that web savvy, and Ross, like some other people tend to prefer phone calls I think. I'm sure he'd sell more if he was a little more responsive to email, but that is just how he is. He also has other business interests, so he is not at his PC 24hrs per day, and I'm guessing doesn't even check his email every day.

Like any business, if you really want something from him, you'll just have to keep trying, and hope he returns the emails. Otherwise, look for alternatives...

Cheers

I have found that Ross always replies to my emails - perhaps not within the hour though. I think that his mobile telephone number has changed from that listed in Top Down, from 025 306 364 to 0274 306 364.

Not personally - you could try giving Ross a phone call though
+64 7 858 4040 or +64 274 306 364 ... just watch the time zones obviously!

You could also place a wanted ad on the New Zealand MX5 Club website:

Once the message gets attention, it is quite quick from there and the product comes to my door within a week.

Seems to be, if I sent mail via GMAIL, it goes into black-hole.
If I sent from other one, it usually gets little more quick response.

I have purchased few things from him several times and will do in the future.

I hope ptalany had response back from Ross.
