I cant help thinking if they didnt plan to have it on the same day as the Bathurst motor race there would be a lot more cars.Ross.

Is that allowing for Daylight Time? Sunday race I believe is 10:00 to 17:45
(Aus time) so I assume that will be 13:00 to 20:45 here. Daylight time in
NSW, ACT and Victoria does not start until the last Sunday of October.

Talking to Mazda yesterday it is now 160 and I have not yet registered so

According to the Listener, the actual race start is 1pm our time and
coverage ends at 8pm.
Where have all the messages gone? The last I received was at 11:46pm last
night. I replied to it but haven't seen the reply appear yet. Something
broken with the list?

Have just seen on the telly that coverage on TV1 is from 11.00am till 7.30pm
daylight saving time, and I think the race starts at 1.00pm our time, but
don't quote me on that. Vince.

Just to help, my car will be there without me (I'm in Canberra). If you see
a sparkle green NA, reg no AUQ 502, remind the tall Lancastrian driver that
you will be reporting back to me on his driving and that he was the one who
wrecked the last clutch!

195??? WOW!

I had the wrist/hand cast and shoulder sling removed today and will get
the verdict on Friday. However I might be forgiven for thinking I'll
'strap the wrist up' and drive regardless if it means NZ gets the record
- even if my WOF and registration has expired while I've been 'casted
and slinged' over the past 7 weeks!

I trust the other 199 MX5's will not report me to the Ministry of L&T
(or my Ortho surgeon)???

There may be an insistence on Reg/WOF? It may be part of the record
requirements, but I have no idea so best to ask the organiser Eileen.

I got my reg & wof done today (WOF at City Garage... plug for a sponsor)
hadn't been driven for a few weeks either...

Problem H is my driver side seat belt is "acting up" so I can't simply
get a WOF and update reg in a day (and certainly at present would have
difficulty replacing it myself)!

BTW, does anyone have access to a NA series driver's seat belt
mechanism???
