Interested in Auckland:
1. a dent removal company that pulls out dents where no painting is required
2. a good & reasonably priced cut & polish person
3. a good & reasonably priced place for a repaint job (BRG) if #2 above
isn't appropriate
4. where I can get a durable tan coloured top - I understand a list member
just brought such an item in from the US
5. also opinions on repainting your car a different colour - thinking about
going from BRG to one of the more recent metallic MX5-II colours
Regards
Bill

Dear Bill
The best dent removal guy by far is Keith Miller of Dentmasters. He is based
in Christchurch but I believe he comes up to Auckland sometimes when there is
a body of work for him to do. I have a few supermarket dings in the doors too,
so I'll email him and ask him if he is likely to be up in the near future.
Anyone else interested?

Re tan top, check with Don at Autoway Services in (07 847 5484
autoway.services@xtra.co.nz )Hamilton, he has just fitted a tan top with
glass wibdow to a BRG 1991?
AS for colour, W H Y change from BRG, it is a sought after car. If you want
to do a complete repaint, dont forget about the enigine well and boot area,
buy a cheaper car and do it properly. A repainted BRG is going to loose you
heaps of $$$$$$$ - not original !!!

I can vouch for Keith Miller. A couple of weeks ago he took several dents out
of our BRG, including two in the bonnet which a panel beater said was
impossible because of the strengthening underneath. He did about six in all
for a total cost of $90 (plus GST). Superb job, you cannot tell where they
were. Regards, Paul R.
