Some dude from Waitakere is selling stainless steel turbo manifolds for $299.00.
Any one bought one before & are they worth having?
I see he doesnt allow picks & that always gets me suspicious!
Sorry but i am too computer illiterate to know how to post the link {sigh!]

I;d tend towards (very) wary ... feedback is a bit low, no pick ups,  ... and doesn't stainless expand a lot ?  For normal non-turbo headers they have slip joints to handle that.  This one'll prob just crack once it gets toasty...

nice picture tho ;)

Manifolds

Its cheaper to buy a mig or tig welder and make your own manifolds in NZ!

Just ask around for quotes otherwise.....

Those manifolds on T.M are flanged for a TD05h turbo and quite frankly would not supply the flow or handle the heat, associated with this level of power potential from the turbine sizing. Go figure.

Wow I just looked on the Advanti wheel website and they are all 5 stud,
maybe a good time to get a set of 4 stud wheels before they disappear.

Can you please please please make me one for $60?  just kidding!

Yes, the schedule 30 pipe bends and straights are quite cheap $9 each ( will need atleast a doz mixed), the header manifold flange $55-80 and a top quality collector T2, T3 flanged $40- 90 are a bit more expensive..... that is unless you are a body shop employee
A dropsaw, grinder, mig or tig, clamps, hacksaw and some skill are all required too!

Cant see much of the manifold otherwise i assume you are pretty happy with the product.
From what i have read from previous posts its poor quality so i would at least expect to view the product first & go from there but the seller does not allow pick-ups!

Yes the person who had purchased one from trade me, wanted to return it because it was so shitty... guess what, no returns.

Stainless steel will crack eventually and will also look brown and blemished after a couple months.

I build for reliability and not so much for the aesthetics.

Each to there own :D
