He may be able to adjust the clutch set-up on it (assuming you want to keep it) to make it a bit smoother. He set up my OSG and it is great.
What'd you do to your car this week/weekend?

ok..mine is a road car and have found since putting back in the torsen its way nicer to drive and not noisey at all...clutch lsds are for racing and drifting and do wear out and how much you adjust them if you can will still be noisey.REDBEN wrote:Mainly just a fun car to Drag/track out of it basically with driving to event here and there.malcster wrote:what do you use the car for?REDBEN wrote: Ok sweet, I do want to keep it, as I like the way it drives but just a bit aggressive on take off, How do I get in contact with Kayne? Well after having the roll bar in for about a month with rough paint, no plastic trim or carpet in the car, ive hopefully re-fitted it for the last time.
While the trim looks far from a factory finish, I don't think it looks to bad - a shame i had to cut holes behind the seatbelt to get my fingers through to hold the nuts. -Note: Buy more than the exact amount of nuts and washers, coz when you drop one in the seatbelt tower you have to pull EVERYTHING off again to get it!!

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

How slack of me not to give them a plug as I'm really happy with it!
I took some pictures in to show what I wanted, they made some good suggestions (44mm for the main hoop, just add a diagonal if I want it race spec) and you see the result.

Can't remember the guys name .. But it doesn't matter as it's a small team and only a couple of them do the fab work.
Just between you, me and the web it cost me $600.

Nice, looks like it'd fit under a hard top too?tomtikki wrote:How slack of me not to give them a plug as I'm really happy with it!

Got home, decided to throw in the towel on my car and get someone else to do the work.
Oh and put in my order for a 6 speed gearbox. Should hopefully arrive in the distantly near future when I'm ready to give it to the workshop with my Japanese mate to put in a crapload of stuff before I go get it certed.

from what I have read, boot subs would need a vent of some description into the main cabin to be effective *but* there is anecdotal examples on other forums of some people having success with the sub in the boot on an MX5.
-=edit=- and I also got around to replacing the missing slidey plate on my ashtray with some alluminium...
sorry about the terrible photo
if the drivers seat is out, then the other 3 options I figure are: behind the passenger seat, velcro'ed to sit on the parcel tray (for car thieves to see) or maybe in the footwell on the passenger side.Cant think where im going to have to put it as i need the seat all the way back.
